The youth teams of Andorra experienced a weekend with mixed results. The U19 team earned a hard-fought point in the Andorran derby against ENFAF, the under-15 achieved an important victory on Bellpuig's field, and the U13 narrowly lost to Bordeta Lleida in a match decided in the final play.
ENFAF 0-0 U19
The under-19 team earned a well-deserved point in the derby against ENFAF in a match that required great defensive effort. The tricolors started with intensity and high pressing, although the opponent managed to find ways out and forced them to retreat. Despite this, Andorra created danger on the counterattack, with four clear transitions, one of which ended with a shot hitting the crossbar. They also had a good chance from a corner kick.
In the second half, ENFAF increased the pressure and focused on lateral crosses, but the solid defense and goalkeeper Nil's interventions kept the clean sheet intact. The tricolors found it harder to create danger in attack after the break, but they managed to withstand the most demanding moments to secure a draw that rewarded the team's collective effort and sacrifice.
Bellpuig 0-3 U15
The U15 achieved a great victory on Bellpuig's field to continue their positive momentum. The tricolors struggled to get into the game against an opponent that created a challenging scenario and did not allow them to control the game during the first half. Despite the difficulties, the team kept a clean sheet and continued working with the confidence to turn the situation around.
After the break, the game changed. Bellpuig lost some of their physical sharpness and began to leave more spaces, which Andorra capitalized on to find the back of the net and ultimately secure a 0-3 victory. An important away win, the result of collective effort, which allows the tricolors to continue progressing and remain in contention for the top positions.
Bordeta Lleida 4-3 U13
The under-13 suffered a narrow defeat on Bordeta Lleida's field in a close and competitive match that was decided in the final play. The first half was marked by equality between the two teams, but the home side took the lead with a set-piece action. After the break, a lack of defensive solidity allowed Bordeta to extend their lead to 3-1.
The tricolors, however, never stopped believing. After a system change, the team reacted and managed to equalize the score in the final minutes, showing character and resilience. Just when it seemed they could secure a positive result, a long ball from midfield in the last action of the match ended with a local header that sealed the 4-3 final score.
