Adri Vilanova and FC Andorra are parting ways after six seasons together. The Catalan central defender ended his contractual relationship with the club last Sunday and will no longer be part of the first team. In this way, Vilanova puts an end to a trajectory of five and a half years brilliantly defending the tricolour jersey.
The relationship between Adri Vilanova and FC Andorra is a success story after the defender arrived at the club with the team playing in 1a catalana. It was the beginning of the current project and together we have experienced the most brilliant stage of the organization with three promotions and the jump from regional categories to professional football in just over three and a half years.
In these six seasons, Vilanova has played 148 matches in four different categories – LaLiga 2, 1a RFEF, 2a división B and 1a catalana – and has scored eight goals, one of the most remembered being the one he scored against Celta de Vigo in Copa del Rey at the National Stadium in 2021. In addition, since his arrival, the '5' has always shown himself as a footballer committed to the project and the institution, becoming a key player to understand the club's achievements in recent years.
