Randy Schneider and Jesús Owono have been called up by their national teams for the upcoming international window and will miss the next matchday's game against Granada. Both will join their respective national squads to take part in international commitments.

Jesús Owono will play two qualifying matches for the 2027 Africa Cup of Nations with Equatorial Guinea. The first will be on Thursday, September 24, against the Democratic Republic of Congo in Kinshasa, while the second will take place on Monday, September 28, against Sierra Leone in Malabo, Equatorial Guinea.

Meanwhile, Randy Schneider will play three FIFA ASEAN Cup matches with the Philippines. The first will be on Saturday, September 26, against Vietnam; the second on Tuesday, September 29, against Pakistan; and the third on Friday, October 2, against Thailand, all three in Bandung, Indonesia. With this call-up, the midfielder becomes the fourth Spanish footballer to be an international with an absolute national team –not counting the Andorran national team– after Mustapha Bundu, Jesús Owono and Áron Yaakobishvili.
