FC Andorra's sports management announces the arrival of winger Laorent Shabani. The attacker, born in Sweden but of Albanian origin, arrives in the Principality from Swedish First Division Norrköping. He comes on loan for one season and Andorra reserves an option to buy him at the end of the season.
Laorent Shabani (Sweden, 19/08/1999) is a creative winger with a great 1v1 who will live his first experience outside his native Sweden. Trained in the youth categories of Malmö, he made his debut in professional football when he signed for Sirius, in the Nordic country's first division. He played for the Uppsala team for two and a half years and in the summer of 2022 – the Swedish league starts in April and ends in November – he signed for Norrköping.
This season was the most prolific in front of goal as Shabani scored one goal for Sirius and three more in the second half of the season with Norrköping. This year, the winger has made 15 league appearances and arrives with competitive pace. Actually, he played a few minutes in his team's defeat at Elfsborg stadium last Monday.
Shabani was international with Sweden in youth categories (U17 and U19) but two years ago, although he did not play, he was called up to a match with the U21 national team in his parents country, Albania.
