Perfect weekend for the tricolor under-19, who defeated the leader of their group until then, Manresa, on a day when all their direct rivals lost, a result that allows Andorra to move out of the relegation zone.
The U15, on the other hand, achieved a hard-fought victory by the minimum, while the under-13 could not handle the offensive power of Can Rull.
U19 2-0 Manresa
Prestigious victory for the team led by Filipe Busto, thanks especially to a spectacular first 45 minutes. In fact, the 2-0 lead at halftime against the category leader was even short.
The first half was dominated by control and constant attacks from the Tricolor team, and Unai opened the scoring in the 10th minute by finishing an excellent collective play. Five minutes before halftime, Juanfran doubled the local advantage from the penalty spot, and shortly after, Unai had a clear chance to score the third.
In the second half, Manresa made adjustments and had more presence in the opposing half, but the tricolor U19 responded with defensive solidity and commitment to keep a clean sheet, move out of the relegation zone, and face next week's match against the new leader, Sant Cugat, with confidence.
U15 1-0 Intercomarcal
The under-15 team faced more difficulties than expected to secure three points during the visit of Intercomarcal, on a key day after the draw between the top two teams, AEM and Atlètic Segre.
Nilo, who once again had a great match, opened the scoring in the 15th minute, but the truth is that the Tricolor team struggled to make things work. In fact, the visitors had plenty of chances throughout the 80 minutes to equalize or even overturn the score, but thanks to goalkeeper Joan and the posts, on two occasions, they managed to keep a clean sheet.
The second half was affected by snowfall and weather conditions, which made the game even more challenging. However, Andorra had two good chances to seal the victory through Nilo and Èric Méndez, who made his season debut after recovering from an injury.
Can Rull 8-3 U13
A tough match for the Tricolor team, who were outmatched by the quality and physical superiority of Can Rull Rómulo-Tronchoni. The Tricolors managed to close the gap after the early 3-0 lead by the Egarenc team, but the 4-1 penalty just before halftime was a heavy blow.
In the second half, Andorra kept trying and managed to score two more goals through Joel, who had an excellent game, and Yago, but they had no chance to fight for the win.
