The Juvenil becomes a giant killer

In what seemed like the most challenging moment of the season, the under-19 team showed their best version: last week they secured three points against the group leader, Manresa, and this weekend they repeated the feat by earning a point on the field of Sant Cugat, now the leader.

Sant Cugat 1-1 U19

The under-19 squad earned a very commendable point in an intense and demanding match on the field of the category leader, Sant Cugat.

After a very difficult start with local pressure through set-piece actions, Andorra organized themselves well and gained control. Thanks to this dominance, the U19 team took the lead through Trindade. The home team's goal came from a lateral free kick just before halftime. The second half was very tactical with few chances. Thus, with this hard-fought draw against a great rival, the U19 confirms their good form on all levels.

U15 1-2 Tàrrega

A sad defeat for the U16 team, who lost at home in an important match against a very physical opponent that made things very difficult for the tricolor team. Andorra played well, but some mistakes and a lack of composure with the ball condemned the team.

The match started well for Andorra's interests with the under-16 controlling the ball, but a mistake allowed Tàrrega to open the scoring in a one-on-one action against the goalkeeper. Five minutes later, the tricolors tried with a series of shots that eventually resulted in the equalizing goal by Nil. The second half, with the score tied, was controlled by Bryan Pubill's team, but they failed to capitalize on their moments, and in the 73rd minute, a visiting attacker received a ball inside the area and scored the winning goal.

Y13 1-6 FiF Lleida

A bitter defeat for the under-13 team after a great start to the match. Despite the 1-0 goal by Nil, the team could not withstand the strong pressure from the visiting team and ended up losing 1-6.

The first half was controlled by the tricolors, neutralizing the rival attacks and creating opportunities. Nil's goal came from a shot outside the area, but just when it seemed they would reach halftime with the lead, the Lleida team scored the equalizer. In the second half, the better physical condition of the visiting team prevailed, and although Andorra continued attacking and creating chances, FiF Lleida caused a lot of damage with shots from outside the area and counterattacks exploiting the back of the tricolor defense.
