The U-19 draws and fails to secure salvation

The under-19 team failed to secure their place in the final matchday of the championship and will return to the First Division after two excellent seasons in Preferent. The boys coached by Filipe Busto needed to beat San Mauro, a direct rival in the fight for survival, but fell short despite trying until the end.

San Mauro 1-1 U19

The recipe for staying in the category was clear: secure the three points. But the tricolor U19 team couldn't achieve it in a match where they tried in every possible way but were heavily affected by the home team's precision and a questionable performance by the referee trio.

Andorra had more chances, but the Anoia team found the net on their first and almost only opportunity. From that point on, the tricolors had to fight an uphill battle. Before halftime, the home goalkeeper saved the equalizer, and in the second half, the visitors had two more clear chances. Finally, the goal came through César in the 70th minute, but the final minutes were a case of "so close yet so far": the referee sent off Juanfran, refused to award a fairly clear penalty, and the home goalkeeper saved attempts to make it 1-2.

U15 1-1 Alpicat

With no chance of competing for the league title, the under-15 team did not play a good match and could only manage a draw against Alpicat. Max opened the scoring in the first half, but the team lost focus in the second half, allowing the visitors to equalize.

Without playing a great game, Andorra was superior in the first half and had opportunities to go into halftime with a bigger lead. Othman, with a couple of clear chances, and Gerard could have scored, but the 1-0 came just before the half-hour mark, with Max scoring after an assist from Jan. In the second half, however, the tricolors were not at their best, and Alpicat took advantage to score the definitive 1-1.

U13 1-1 Atlètic Segre

The U13 team closed their time in Preferent with a good draw against Atlètic Segre during their visit to the Principality. The tricolors tried harder, but the final 1-1 scoreline accurately reflects a contested and very even match.

Andorra started off on the right foot, and in the 10th minute, a very tight offside call by the referee prevented Iker Entrerrios from going one-on-one with the goalkeeper. Despite not scoring on this occasion, the under-13 was playing better, and finally, in the 25th minute, Nil opened the scoring in a quick transition.

The problem was that before they could even savor the goal, the tricolors found themselves level again after a free-kick shot that went untouched and ended up in the back of the net.

In the second half, Andorra was again the team that tried harder, and Uritz had the clearest chance after a good play by Kian. But even though 2-1 seemed more likely than 1-2, the scoreline remained unchanged.
