The U19 and the U15 achieved two key victories to stay in the fight for their objectives. The older team moved closer to salvation in a very tight relegation battle, while Bryan Pubill's boys continue to make steady progress and will fight for the top position until the end.
U19 3-0 Sant Quirze
The under-19 had a crucial match against the last-placed team and showed their best side in a duel that, however, was not decided until the last half hour of play. Now, Filipe Busto's team remains in the relegation zone, but with all options open heading into the final stretch of the season. In fact, from the 14th-placed team, Andorra, to the 7th, there is only a four-point difference.
From the start, Andorra was superior and already in the first action warned with a shot over the crossbar. In fact, in the first half, the tricolor team created many chances but lacked accuracy in front of the goal. In the second half, however, the goals came.
Juanfran scored twice, the first by receiving a pass behind the defense and the second from a corner kick, while the definitive 3-0 was scored by Adri Regalo, taking advantage of a good filtered pass and beating the goalkeeper in a one-on-one.
U15 2-1 Bordeta Lleida
The league fight seems to be a two-horse race after Andorra, the second-placed team, defeated Bordeta Lleida in an emotional and thrilling match. The tricolors had to come back from the visitors' initial goal and play almost the entire second half with one player less.
In a transition, the team from Lleida took the lead in the first half, which was marked by a lack of control. Neither team managed to dominate, although Bordeta was already ahead on the scoreboard. Fortunately, in a set-piece action delivered by Jan, Othman equalized with an acrobatic finish (31').
In the second half, Andorra managed to bring the game a bit more to their side, but just when they were at their best, Jan was sent off. With numerical inferiority, Bryan Pubill's team had to step back, but this allowed them to find spaces on the counterattack. Especially after the debutant Gerard entered the field: the tricolor player had up to three clear chances, and on the third, he succeeded. With a 2-1 lead, Andorra had to hold on but managed to secure three very important points.
Igualada 10-0 U13
Aldo Papadopulos' team had no chance against the unstoppable league leader. Igualada has not lost a single match this season and gave no opportunity to the tricolor team.
Despite the goal at the very start (5'), Andorra still held up quite well in the first half, reaching halftime with a 2-0 score. However, the under-13 team's strength ran out in the second half, and they could not compete after the break.
