Great victory for the U13 tricolour team, who suffered more than expected but added three key points that keep them at the top of the table. In fact, Aldo Papadopulos's team already takes five points away from the second-placed team. For their part, the U19 could not make good on the victory of the last day, while the U16 suffered the same fate in a match that had everything.
U13 2-1 Cervera | One step closer
The U13 had to work hard to add the three points against Cervera in a tight duel and without many scoring chances. The victory, however, further boosts Aldo Papadopulos' team in first place in the standings thanks to the stumble of one of their pursuers.
Shortly after the start, Xavi Fernández opened the scoring with a shot from outside the area and the team managed to close down their rival near their area. The visitors, however, lined up with a five-man line behind them, which left very little space for the Andorran attack, who had difficulty creating chances.
In the second half, these problems multiplied and Andorra found it difficult to attack with fluidity. However, in the 57th minute, Isaac scored the second, which gave the U13 boys a lot of peace of mind. In the final minutes, Cervera closed the gap with a free kick, but the victory was no longer in danger.
Terrassa 4-1 U19 | Defeat despite scoring first
The U19 could not continue their victory streak from the last weekend and lost in the visit to Terrassa, despite taking the lead through Yèdid in just the 4th minute. Shortly after, the tricolours scored the second, but the goal was ruled offside and, from there, Terrassa came back with two set pieces.
Before the break, Andorra had a clear chance to equalize and, at after the break, the team came out ready to keep trying. But even though the team was fine, a quick transition allowed Terrassa to score the third goal. The final blow came in the 79th minute with another set piece that made it 4-1.
Alpicat 5-3 U16 | Incomplete comeback
In a crazy match that was going to have everything against Alpicat, the U16 team saw the tie slip away in the last minutes. And this is because the match started very badly for Andorra, who were losing 0-3 just before the break. Luckily, a minute after the third goal, Marc Ber closed the gap to go into half-time with a different mood.
In fact, in the second half, the tricolours maintained the good momentum and in less than ten minutes they completed the job with goals from Adrià Deu and del Amo to restore parity in the scoreboard. Thus, with the momentum in their favor, Bryan Pubill's team continued to attack and had two very clear opportunities to score the fourth. But the lack of accuracy penalized the team and Alpicat took advantage of it to, in the last minutes, score two goals to decide the match.
