Andorra fell on the field of Barça's reserve team and was eliminated in the semifinals of the Catalonia Cup. In a very open match with chances in both areas, the Blaugrana, who had taken the lead on the scoreboard, decided the tie with a goal in the second half.
The tricolors started energetically and in the first part of the match enjoyed several clear opportunities to open the scoring. Josep Cerdà, very active at the start, tried twice, while the post and the local goalkeeper, even before the first quarter of an hour, prevented Olabarrieta's goal.
In the 23rd minute, Barça B's goal came from Guille Fernández, but Andorra did not take long to react and, just as the half-hour mark was reached, Théo Le Normand scored the equalizer.
From then until halftime, the pace of chances slowed, as it did at the start of the second half. But everything picked up again when the reserve team took advantage of their first clear opportunity of the second half to take the lead again (77').
With the scoreboard unbalanced again, the match opened up once more, with the tricolor team becoming disorganized in their attempt to find the equalizer again. Thus, the post saved Barça B's sentence twice, while Andorra was stopped by an inspired Emilio Bernad, who prevented the 2-2 from arriving.
