Andorra has let three vital points slip away to escape the relegation zone during the visit of Real Sociedad's reserve team to Encamp. The dominance in the penalty areas has once again been key: the txuri-urdin scored with practically the two clear chances they had, while the tricolors once again showed a lack of precision in the final shot.
Despite a good start from Andorra, Gorosabel opened the scoring for the Donostiarra team in the very first chance they had, just in the 9th minute. Fortunately, Carles Manso's team reacted well, and just after the quarter-hour mark, Jastin equalized with a shot from the edge of the box.
After the goal, Lauti had the second goal at his feet, while Yeray also tried with a great long-range shot. The scoreline did not change before halftime, nor did it in the second half, despite an initial period where the Principality's team continued to be better and enjoyed clear chances.
Between the 64th and 68th minutes, Andorra had three very clear chances to break the tie: Lautaro missed the target in a one-on-one with the goalkeeper, Yeray tried shortly after, and finally, Jastin's shot grazed the post.
And still, in the midst of the tricolor's momentum, Marc Cardona, with practically the first ball he touched, shot with a semi-error, and his attempt also missed the target. A fortune that Real Sociedad did have, as in the 76th minute, Carrera scored the second goal, the same player who had scored twice in the first leg.
The 1-2 was a very hard blow for Andorra, which could not recover from the setback and was unable to find the equalizer.
