Tough defeat at Anoeta

Resounding defeat for Andorra at Anoeta. The tricolors, who played a fairly good first half, saw all the details turn against them: starting with an early goal in an unfortunate play... but the start of the second half was very tough, with another goal conceded right at the beginning and the expulsion of Gael Alonso.

Things couldn't have started worse for Andorra's interests, as they saw Carrera open the scoring by taking advantage of a poor back pass from Gael. From there, Ibai Gómez's team didn't back down and sought the equalizer with intent. Jastin was the first to try, then Manu Nieto attempted with a high shot, while Minsu had a very clear chance to equalize but his shot went too wide (21'). And even before halftime, a good play by the Korean winger narrowly missed connecting with Manu.

But if the start of the match had been tough, the beginning of the second half was even worse. In another unlucky play, the ball rebounded off Sergio Molina, leaving Carrera alone once again, and he didn't miss (49'). And any chances of a comeback completely vanished with the expulsion of Gael Alonso ten minutes later.

With ten men, Andorra had no chance to compete, and Real Sociedad's reserve team made the wound even deeper with the definitive 3-0.
