With empty hands

There is no way, and the story repeats itself week after week. The lack of decisiveness has once again penalized Andorra in a match where the tricolors deserved to leave with a better result. But at 2-2, the team from the Principality missed a penalty, and shortly after, Almería did not forgive.

The start of the Andalusian team was a storm that engulfed Andorra. Moreover, in those ten minutes of pure suffering, their dominance was reflected on the scoreboard thanks to an individual effort by Arribas (9'). But the team recovered well from the blow and gradually gained ground.

In the 11th minute, Carrique and Minsu tried twice, and a few minutes later, it was Jastin who tested the home goalkeeper. The winger from Lleida gained prominence as the minutes passed and became the most dangerous attacker for the tricolors.

Finally, in the 39th minute, after a good pass back from Carrique, Jastin equalized the match, and in the last play of the first half, Marc Domènech almost turned the score around with a shot that grazed the post.

In the second half, Andorra came out with the same courage and personality with which they had ended the first half and soon found the reward of the second goal: Yeray hit the post, and Villahermosa took advantage of the rebound to send the ball into the back of the net (52').

Almería responded a few minutes later with an equalizer from Miguel de la Fuente, but the tricolors seemed comfortable with the situation of the match and had the best opportunity to tilt it in their favor: in a play orchestrated by Villahermosa alone, the '6' earned a penalty that could have been decisive. But Andrés won the duel against Lautaro from the penalty spot, and a few minutes later, the home team's goalkeeper once again proved crucial by saving Villahermosa's shot.

On the other hand, Almería, in a quick transition, found the goal through Leo Baptistao, and the points slipped away from Andorra, even though they deserved much better luck today.
