This afternoon against Nàstic, Nico Ratti has played 200 games for Andorra. The goalkeeper, who trained at the tricolor base and made his debut with the first team while still a junior, is reaching his double centenary as a footballer for the first team of Andorra, established as one of the key figures of the team and one of the players most appreciated by the fans.
Ratti made his debut with the first team of FC Andorra on April 26, 2009 when he replaced Koldo Álvarez in the 70th minute of an Andorra-Albesa match that the tricolors ended up winning 2-0. He was 15 years old. He was in 1a regional (matchday 33), a category where the Argentine goalkeeper would still play for another year, the following season, already consolidated as the starting goalkeeper.
Then he had to pack his bags on what would be a round trip. And with the start of the new project, the goalkeeper of Argentine origin but settled in the country for many years, was one of the signings and, since then, has grown hand in hand with the team. Ratti now reaches 200 games spread over nine different seasons and having played in five categories (1st regional, 1st Catalan, 2nd division B, 1st RFEF and 2nd division).
Nico, now we're going for 300!
