Almost three weeks after the game against Amorebieta at Estadi Nacional, Andorra will compete again this Friday in Galicia. And this is how the tricolour coach Ferran Costa assessed it, spoking about these last two weeks of training, the match against Arenteiro and analyzing the first part of the championship.

"Last week we spent three days in Olot doing double sessions, doing a lot of video work to analyze the first part of the competition and what things we want to strengthen and influence to take a step further. This week is shorter, with the trip to Galicia, a long trip but with the desire to compete again and have a good match away from home where I think we have to improve our performance against a team that plays very high-level football, very rich in terms of tactics, with differential players and a clear proposal. It will be a match with very high demands to start 2025".
"In the first part of the season I think the team is getting closer to what we want. We have been playing very good games at home for a while now and that has helped us to get a glimpse of what our opponents will be up to when they come here to Andorra. But I think the team has had a good level and has been growing progressively and steadily in the game and especially in the offensive volume. Away from home I think we have been a little more irregular and it has been difficult for us to play good games. On specific days like the game against Nàstic I think we were good, or against Sestao or Tarazona where the team put on their work uniforms and got points, but we have to be more stable and reliable and get back to keeping clean sheets. We have been quite competitive in this first part of the season with a string of misfortunes that have to make us grow. In these 18 games we have been in the top five 14 times and since we do not want to leave these promotion positions we have to take a step forward. And that starts with improving our performances away from home".
"The competition is very tough and we see that it is very difficult to win and all the teams have had a match where they have clearly been overcome. But I think that they are a very recognizable team and, although in these last matches they have not won as much as before, their playing tendency has not changed. They are a very dominant team, that has the ability to close you but when they can attack quickly they also do it very well. It is difficult to dominate them, they know how to manage the ball very well and that means that they usually take the initiative".
"The matches after the breaks are somewhat complex due to the fact that they are competing again and coming from this inactivity; not all the players react the same and they all need different 'tempos' to recover their peak form".
