The Nzalang team was unable to secure a victory in any of the three matches of the first phase and has said goodbye to their chances early on.
On the other hand, the tricolor Jesús Owono was a key player, starting in all three matches against Burkina Faso, Sudan, and Algeria. He played all 90 minutes in each of them.
After concluding his participation in the continent's top national team competition, Owono will rejoin the tricolor training sessions starting next week.
