FC Andorra continues to progress in their preseason preparation after defeating Inter Club d’Escaldes 5-2 in the training match held this Friday at the Estadi Comunal. Following the match, Carles Manso positively assessed the team’s work during these first weeks of preparation.
«We’ve had a few weeks of intense workload, with many double sessions, and in the end, this accumulates in the players’ fatigue. But the most important thing is that everyone’s attitude and willingness are very good,» explained the tricolor coach, who highlighted the group’s ability to assimilate the concepts being worked on during the preseason.
Regarding the match, Manso acknowledged that the team faced difficulties against the initial pressure from Inter d’Escaldes but praised the team’s ability to adapt to the context of the game. In the second half, the tricolor team had to reorganize after a more challenging start before regaining control and ultimately winning 5-2.
«What we highlight the most is everyone’s willingness, the drive, and the hunger they’ve brought back from the holidays. They feel that we can improve as a team, that we have very solid foundations, but there’s still a lot of room for improvement,» noted the coach.
