Beto Company: "We can't imagine an outcome other than victory."

These were the statements made by coach Beto Company during the press conference prior to the match against Gimnástica Segoviana.

"A defeat always leaves you with bad feelings and the other day's defeat hurts us. What is true is that the defeat has brought out in us feelings of belonging, of wanting to do things, of desire and eagerness for the next ones to pay for it. We have it to play for, we want to enjoy it. There are 6 games left, we want to enjoy it, we want the fans to enjoy us, our game, which, in addition to the results, we have to add 3 at home".

"On a football level, I think it's 20 bad minutes and 70 minutes equal or for us. From the 20th minute they didn't have a single shot on goal or any dangerous situation. Starting from the 2-0 handicap, it's very difficult to win the game in such an even category".

"At half-time the tone was constructive, first because I believe in it in those moments. In moments of tension I think we had to be constructive, and also because the last quarter of an hour is the best part of the game, we score the goal and we are very close to scoring in a couple of situations. Apart from some tactical corrections, such as the substitution of Jesús for Trigueros, and also as a result of the expulsion we become more dominating than we were until now. Sometimes I have the feeling that there is a lack of desire, that when the ball passes through the area, maybe there is no more".

"Football is a sport where every action can be decisive. There are team sports where you have 60 attacks and defenses, and the one in the 3rd, 6th, 8th minute may not be so decisive, but not in football, every action is decisive, and I think that at every moment we have to have this feeling of desire to be able to finish closing the games".

"The victory is mandatory for our goals, because we are playing at home, because we are coming off a defeat and because if we want to make the playoffs we have to win. I think Segoviana comes with its weapons, but I remember Segovia, and I think that anyone who doesn't feel sorry for Segovia doesn't deserve to be here. They hurt us a lot, because it was a game that had gone really badly, and in the end it was one of the wildest things I have experienced in 25 years on a football field. It hurt us, we remember it and we want to win, we have the illusion of playing in the playoffs, but we also want to take things away, and this is one of them."

"We see it as a positive because we see the changes. The team never stops being domineering, combinative, never stops being in control or putting high pressure. I see it as a positive and so does the squad, this gives us a certain versatility. At certain times we play with three, and at others with four. I think it is positive to dominate different registers. Whatever the pattern, the important thing is that Andorra is recognizable by a way of doing things".

"We don't want to get stuck in the fact that we have to beat the home team, because we also want to beat the away team. We know that in the National we have a plus, but instead of being afraid of losing this plus in the National, what we want is to win this plus away from home. We must always be the team that plays in the National. We don't consider these 9 points vital because we also have the away team. It is clear that the next one is at home and it is yes or yes".

"All the players are in the same boat, they are all involved and what can happen in these games is that you can choose certain players so that their physical and emotional state is optimal. We have a very large and high-quality squad and we have to make sure of that in this final stretch."

"I expect an opponent who will really come looking for us from above, I think it will be difficult to sink them. I think they have few complexes when they go forward, that they want to go looking for the game from this pressure, and that at the level of play they are not very combinative and I think it is difficult to defend that because we are very turned over and we expose ourselves to counterattacks and all that. I think that if we are aggressive with the ball, I think we will do well. Otherwise, it will be very tough, very even, and that it will be decided by small details."
