Andorra wins convincingly and advances to the next round in the Cup

Relatively comfortable victory for Andorra, which advances to the next round after overcoming Valle de Egüés in a very serious match. The tricolors managed to ensure that very little happened near their area, dominated at will, and were effective in the opponent's area.

In the opening minutes of total control, Andorra managed to calm the logical local momentum by keeping possession and making their opponent run. Thus, as the minutes passed, Ibai Gómez's team gained ground and approached with more danger until the debutant Merquelanz opened the scoring by beating Navarro in a one-on-one (28').

A few minutes later, Merquelanz had the chance to score the second, while at the other end, Owono made a great save to deny the equalizer in Valle de Egüés' only dangerous approach in these first 45 minutes. The first half ended perfectly with Petxa's 0-2 goal before the break.

With the job already half done, the team from the Principality got straight to work, and very soon, Manu Nieto scored the third with one of the first balls he touched. Shortly after, from a corner kick, Uzkudun found the net, while the Navarrese team scored the consolation goal from the penalty spot.

With everything decided and Andorra playing at ease, in the final minutes, Uzkudun and Álvaro Martín tried their luck, but it was Josep Cerdà who ended up finding the net, celebrating his return with a fine goal.
