Andorra did everything to win... except the most important thing: scoring in the final shot. The tricolors, once again, were superior to their opponent and left a very good impression, but the lack of goals condemned the team to a draw and another week without achieving victory.
The first half hour, however, was quite difficult to digest. Cádiz managed to take the ball from Andorra at times, but neither team managed to consistently reach the opponent's area. Minsu tried with a shot that went to a corner after deflecting off a defender, while the Andalusians tested Owono, who prevented the goal in two attempts.
In the 30th minute, Minsu had the clearest chance of the first half – and of the entire match – but Juan Díaz prevented the goal by clearing the ball off the line. From there, Andorra gained some momentum and before halftime, Olabarrieta also tried his luck.
The dominance that the tricolor team had hinted at in the final stretch of the first half became more evident in the second, and the match only went in one direction during these second 45 minutes. Andorra tried in every possible way, but neither Jastin, in a one-on-one with the goalkeeper, nor Marc Domènech could send the ball into the back of the net, and in the end, the match ended as it began.
