After yesterday's defeat at Oviedo's stadium, the relegation of FC Andorra to primera RFEF has been confirmed. This is a big disappointment after two seasons in which the club has been able to compete in LaLiga 2, but we want to send a message of strength and optimism for the future.
The evolution of the season has not been as we expected and the objectives we had set have not been met. It is time to open a period of reflection to gain strength and face this step back with courage and effort to try to make two in front. This is a long-term project and we will not stop here.
Despite the sadness that comes with this relegation, we are proud of everything we have achieved in recent years: an upward sporting trajectory to the historic premiere in LaLiga accompanied by a great increase in our social mass. Until recently it was difficult to imagine an Estadi Nacional full to see Andorra play against historic teams, as well as the hundreds of people who have accompanied the team on some games away and the excitement and passion created towards the club and the team.
It is from this that we must continue to build and grow, with the learning we have acquired during this time, the determination and ambition that characterizes us and the maximum commitment to the country.
We want to thank all our members, followers and supporters for the support you have given us throughout this season. You are the most important part of FC Andorra and we assure you that we will give everything so that you can enjoy new victories and feel proud of the team. We also want to thank all the sponsors and institutions in the country for a support that is essential for us.
It is certain that the road will put many challenges in front of us and that is why from the club we will continue to work as we have always done, with maximum dedication and effort to achieve new successes. We will come back stronger, we are convinced!
