With the Infantil team resting – they will play two matches next weekend – the under-19 and the under-15 teams were the highlights and lowlights of this matchday. The older team couldn't overcome Granollers, while the U15 returned to winning ways with a narrow victory.
U19 1-3 Granollers
The under-19 team was unable to score points during the visit of a team from the upper part of the table. And yet, the match was very evenly contested, but the details tipped the victory in favor of Granollers.
The first half was very balanced, but the scoreboard remained unchanged. That changed right at the start of the second half: the team from Vallès took the lead in one of the first plays. But just when the match seemed to be an uphill battle, Andorra managed to do the hardest thing: equalize. From that point on, everything went against Filipe Busto's team: the referee failed to call a clear penalty in favor of the tricolors but did award a very dubious penalty to Granollers. With the score at 1-2, the U19 team launched an all-out attack, which the visitors took advantage of to seal the victory.
Pardinyes 0-1 U15
After the tough defeat in the previous matchday, Bryan Pubill's U15 team returned to winning ways with a narrow victory on Pardinyes' field.
Andorra's first half was very strong, with total control of the game, although there were not many clear chances. The home team, however, did not even come close to the tricolor goal, while at the other end, Nil got ahead of the defense on a lateral free kick and opened the scoring.
In the second half, the match became chaotic, and Andorra lost control. As the game became more open, there were indeed more chances, but Gerard was not able to capitalize on the two clear opportunities he had. The team from Lleida also tried their luck, but fortunately for Andorra, the score remained unchanged.
