U13 team continues to go from three to three and gets two wins in the first two games of the league, while the u19 got the first point of the season with a draw at home against Cerdanyola. Filipe Busto's men deserved better luck but they were not right in front of goal. For its part, u16 is still without luck and lost against Atlètic Segre.
U19 0-0 Cerdanyola | First point of the season
A very serious match for the u19 squad, who played a great game against a powerful rival like Cerdanyola. During the first half hour of play, Andorra clearly dominated the match and managed to create danger, especially from the left wing, but despite the opportunities generated, they could not translate them into goals.
In the restart, the team kept the initiative and kept trying it, although the away team also had two clear opportunities in the counterattack that Jauregui saved very well to keep the score 0-0.
Edfor 2-4 U13 | Comeback to keep growing
U13 got two victories in two games away from home. Against Edfor, the tricolours had to sweat until the end and could not tie the victory until the last minutes.
In the first half, Andorra were better and created multiple chances to open the score, but the goal did not arrive until the 31st minute when Isaac volleyed to the back of the net after a corner. Despite the effort and the difficulty to get ahead on the scoreboard, the joy faded shortly after when the home team returned to equality in the last minute before the break thanks to a penalty .
In the restart, Infantil u13 started strongly again but it was Edfor who scored from a corner kick. Despite the blow, the team did not slow down and, in the 57th minute, Da Costa assisted Iker Canal to score the equalizer. The duel was finally settled in the last minutes when Jian scored 2-3 with a shot from inside the area and, already in added time, Eric Da Costa sentenced.
Atlètic Segre 5-1 U16 | A bad start leaves the game doomed
U16 team has not been lucky in this start of the league facing two of the most powerful rivals in the league and against Atlètic Segre they had no options either. The home team imposed their superiority in an unfortunate start of game for the tricolours who saw the match slip away from them in the first 25 minutes with three goals against. From there, Bryan Pubill's boys reacted and, until the break, played their best minutes, managing to counter the rival attacks and cutting distances on the scoreboard in a quick transition completed by Pol Bescós.
At the restart, Andorra followed the same line, defending with order and threatening to do damage on the counterattack. The problem is that they couldn't close the gap on the scoreboard and the resistance lasted until the 65th minute: then, the home team scored 4-1 and the game was once again quite long for the tricolours.
