U16 makes its work but have to wait

A thrilling end of season for our youth teams. While the U19 faced its last matchday of the league with the job done and salvation in their pocket, the U16 and U13 teams continue to fight for their goals. Bryan Pubill's boys, in fact, achieved a victory that, under normal conditions, would have given them permanence, but is now on standby until the competition committee resolves a contested match by Lleida Promeses, the tricolors' opponent in this fight.

On the other hand, the youngest ones were unable to get the win this weekend and postponed the league title: now, they need at least one point in the last day to be proclaimed champions.

Bordeta Lleida 1-2 U16 | Great victory

A very important triumph for FC Andorra U16, who overcame Bordeta Lleida thanks to a goal by Lucas Magalhaes in the final minutes. A vital goal and, on top of that, a one with a sweet flavor since Lucas had just reappeared last week after a long injury that had kept him off the field for ten months.

The match, however, did not start very well for the tricolours and the home team opened the scoring just in the 4th minute. Andorra was not good in the first minutes and paid dearly for it. From the 20th minute, however, the team reacted and began to look for the opponent's goal with intention. Through set pieces and a shot by Adri Deu, Andorra came close to scoring... until with a minute left before the break, in another lateral free-kick, Héctor assisted for Marc Ber who headed the ball into de back of the net.

In the second half, the tricolours came out intense, although too hasty in attack. On the other side, Héctor saved Bordeta's goal on the line, but despite the scare, Andorra finished the match well. And in the 74th minute the winning goal arrived: Adri Deu opened for Roman and he put a cross that Lucas sent into the back of the net.

U13 0-0 Intercomarcal | The league will have to wait

The nerves trick our U13 team, who did not go beyond the goalless draw at Borda Mateu and will have to wait until the last day to celebrate the league title.

Aldo Papadopulos' boys had the first match-ball to become champions but they found themselves facing an opponent, to whom they had already lost in the first round, who made things very difficult from the first minute. Andorra, of course, tried, but the rush made that the team did not finish well in the final meters. After the break, the script of the game remained similar: Xavi enjoyed a clear chance to score, but as the minutes passed the match broke down and the visitors had some chance to win on the counterattack.

Vilassar Mar 5-1 U19 | Insignificant defeat

A match without history for the U19 team that, once they had achieved permanence, fell against Vilassar in a game with nothing at stake. Perhaps too relaxed, the team saw itself 3-0 down after half an hour of play. In the second half, Andorra seemed to react with a goal from César just starting and with a very clear chance from Abu that would have completely opened the duel.

But the opportunity of the tricolour striker preceded the fourth home goal and, from there, the match was seen for judgment. In the end, Vilassar de Mar scored the final 5-1.
