U13 keeps at the top

The youngest tricolour squad, U13, was the big winner of the week by getting the three points that keep Andorra at the top of the standings. For their part, the U19 began the series of matches against top opponents with a great performance that was left without a prize due to two goals against in the final minutes, while the U16 team also left empty-handed.

At. Segre 3-2 U19 | Effort without reward

The U19 left the leader's field empty-handed despite playing a great match. The tricolours dominated in the first half, but without the prize of the goal. In the second, the game was equalized and animated in the danger areas, but two goals in the final minutes by the home team left Andorra empty-handed.

Filipe Busto's boys were very good in the first 45 minutes. Dominating and having chances to open the scoring, but without success in the final shot. Dani de Sa had two very good chances from a corner kick, while Haroun had the clearest one when he stood alone in front of the goalkeeper. The home keeper, however, prevented the 0-1 with a great save.

After the break, Atlètic Segre took the lead in the first minute in a quick transition, but Andorra reacted well. In the third, it was the good one for Dani de Sa, who equalized, while Yèdid finished turning the score from the penalty spot (76'). In the final stretch, however, the Segrià team equalized again, also from a penalty, and scored the final 3-2 with three minutes left.

Inter Recasens 4-0 U16 | No options

U16 team had no options against Inter Recasens in a match that didn't start propperly. Despite starting 1-0 at the second minute, Andorra stood up and did well during the first half. The half-time, however, was once again decisive for a tricolour team that deflated in the second 40 minutes.

A loss in a dangerous area meant 1-nil for the home team, who found themselves with the goal prize just starting. But despite the blow, Andorra recovered quickly and stood up during the first half. Solid in defense, the team grew in attack and in the end was able to equalize with a shot by Héctor close to the post and in some set pieces. The good feelings, however, disappeared in the second half when the team from Lleida went over Andorra and sealed the victory with three more goals.

U13 2-0 At. Segre | Another win

The U13 squad seems to have regained their momentum in the competition and get their second consecutive victory by defeating Atlètic Segre in the Principality. Aldo Papadopulos' team dominated from the start and suffocated the opponent who hardly got close to the goal defended first by Gerard and then by Èric.

However, the goal was long in coming and it was not until the end of the first half that Isaac took advantage of a great assist from Xavi Fernández to open the scoring. In the second half, everything remained the same, with a dominating Andorra that looked for the goal with intention. And finally it arrived with ten minutes to go when, once again Isaac, finished a lateral cross with the final 2-0.
