Double victory for Andorra's U15 team, who won their weekend match and the postponed game from the first championship round. With these two wins, Bryan Pubill's team moves up to the top of the table.
U15 1-0 Balaguer
Saturday's match, during Balaguer's visit to La Massana, was a tricolor monologue against an opponent that stayed closed near their area. Thus, despite monopolizing possession, Andorra struggled to create chances.
As the minutes passed, the tricolors kept pressing the area and trying patiently. But the goal didn't come... until the 79th minute, when a cross from Iker was headed into the back of the net by captain Jan.
Escola Intercomarcal 0-4 U15
Despite the second match in just 24 hours, the under-15 team played another good game at Escola Intercomarcal's field. It is true that Andorra showed some lack of fluidity at certain moments due to fatigue, but Unai's early goal helped pave the way for the victory.
In the second half, the locals tried to step forward, and the tricolors took advantage of this to exploit the space behind the defense. Nil Hernández scored three goals to seal the win in a second half where the U15 could have scored even more goals.
Balaguer 3-3 U13
The U13 managed to secure a point in a wild match that had become very challenging with a 2-0 deficit. Despite this, Aldo Papadopulos' boys did not give up and managed to save a point in the final minute.
The first half was completely dominated by the tricolors, with a disallowed goal for Urtzi and two clear chances for Nil and Yago. However, in an isolated play, Balaguer opened the scoring from the penalty spot.
In the second half, the match followed the same script: Andorra dominating and creating chances, while the locals capitalized on one of their few opportunities. After the 2-0, the under-13 kept pushing, the Noguera team was reduced to ten men, and Martín hit the post with a free kick. But finally, in just three minutes, Iker and Urtzi scored to equalize.
There was still more drama to come, though. In added time, things got completely chaotic: Andorra was also reduced to ten men, and in the following free kick, Balaguer took the lead again. But in the 6th minute of added time, Iker Enterrios won a penalty, and David Lonca made no mistake.
