Defeat at Castellón

Andorra left Castellón's field empty-handed in a match that was not very successful for the tricolors. The black-and-white team was clearly superior to their opponent and ended up winning thanks to two goals before halftime.

And this despite the fact that Andorra's first 25 minutes were quite good. Well-positioned on the pitch, moving the ball with purpose, and controlling the quick local attacks, the tricolors were comfortable in the early stages of the match. In fact, the first clear goal opportunity came at Carrique's feet after a quick transition led by Álex Calvo. But in their first chance, Castellón did not forgive.

Gerenabarrena opened the scoring (28') and from there, Castellón took control of the game. The post saved Andorra a few minutes later, but when the tricolors were struggling the most, the second goal came from Lucas Alcázar (40').

In the second half, Andorra came out determined to try, and Jastin, who came on at halftime, tested the local goalkeeper Matthys. But beyond that, the Castellón team kept pushing forward and could have inflicted much more damage.
