Alende gives the qualification to Andorra in the last minute

Andorra has surpassed Europa and qualified for the semifinals of the Catalonia Cup in a match that had a bit of everything: the tricolors went up 0-2, the Gracians managed to equalize the score, and finally, in added time, Alende scored the winning goal.

The match started well for Andorra when Yeray, in one of his first actions as a tricolor, stole the ball in a dangerous area and opened the scoring with ease (12’). Shortly after, Josep Cerdà doubled the lead, and Carles Manso's team could have widened the gap even further if the local goalkeeper hadn't saved Le Normand's clear one-on-one chance for a third goal.

Andorra was steamrolling over their opponent, but everything turned around when Europa reduced the deficit shortly after through Àlex Pla. At that point, the tricolor dominance disappeared, and the Barcelona team had their best moments. Even so, just before halftime, Andorra could have restored their two-goal advantage with a double chance from a corner kick, but an opposing defender cleared it off the line.

At the start of the second half, Europa equalized, and the match became chaotic. Both teams had chances to tip the balance, but when penalties seemed like the only way to break the tie, Diego Alende took advantage of a loose ball in the area to secure Andorra's place in the semifinals.
