Giant victory for Andorra, who won on their home field in a thrilling duel. Lauti broke the deadlock after the draw, and although the tricolors suffered in the final minutes and saw Racing equalize the score, a goal from Álex Calvo secured the triumph for Ibai Gómez's team.
This team has personality and demonstrated it on the field against one of the top teams in the category. And this despite Racing starting the match strong and motivated, but the tricolors also made their presence felt. Le Normand was the first to try after a great play by Minsu and Lauti, and minutes after having a goal disallowed for offside, he nearly finished off a spectacular collective play.
The team held up well, and when they didn't, Yaako was a savior when the occasion demanded it. This was also the case in the second half, where Andorra came out motivated once again. Minsu was denied by Ezkieta, and a minute later, Villahermosa earned a penalty that Lauti converted into the 0-1 (53').
With the goal, however, the Cantabrians stepped up, and Andorra had to endure. Yaakobishvili became a giant on numerous occasions, but there was nothing he could do in the 72nd minute when Sangalli scored.
Despite the setback, the team managed to survive and found their reward in the opportunity they had: Minsu got behind the defense and, after a couple of maneuvers, assisted Álex Calvo, who made no mistake.
