Andorra wins and entertains

Another victory for Andorra, who defeated Córdoba in a match that had a bit of everything. The tricolors continue their great start to the championship and now have 10 points in these first five league matches. And this, despite the fact that in the first half, the Andalusians were superior and deserved better luck; however, Ibai Gómez's team knew how to endure, take advantage of their opportunities, and ended up sealing the win after a great second half.

The start of the match was everything Andorra did not want, as Córdoba threatened right from the beginning and, by the 2nd minute, had already taken the lead on the scoreboard in an unfortunate play that ended with an own goal by Petxa. After the blow of the 0-1, the tricolors struggled to recover, and the visitors could have widened the gap if they had capitalized on some of the several times they recovered the ball near Yaako's area.

Fortunately, Andorra held on, and when they were struggling the most, they found the goal with a good shot from Olabarrieta from outside the area (20'). After the 1-1, the team from the Principality managed to calm things down, and although the Andalusians kept trying, the goal that came before halftime was Minsu's, in a quick transition (34').

In the second half, the tricolors came out much better, and in fact, Minsu was close to scoring the third in the early stages of the second half. Much more comfortable, Ibai Gómez's team managed to control the game much better and showed superiority over their opponent. And so, towards the end, the definitive 3-1 came in a pass into space for Carrique, which, after the visiting goalkeeper's rebound, Villahermosa converted into the final goal.
