Andorra suffered a very difficult second leg game in Eivissa and managed to qualify for the final where Ponferradina awaits. The tricolours had to give up the initiative to an Ibiza that dominated and went for victory from the opening whistle, but they were met with a providential Nico Ratti and Lautaro's goal, already in the second half, which was decisive.
In the fight to gain control of the ball, Ibiza, much more in need and pushed by their fans, came out brave and dominated from the beginning against an Andorra that, despite this, showed skill and confidence in not being scared by the local attempts. In fact, in the first part of the match, the tricolour goalkeeper hardly had to intervene, while Cerdà was the first to threaten with a deflected header. From here, the Balearic team's clearest chances came, each time met with the response of a sensational Nico Ratti.
First, in the 33rd minute, the tricolour keeper saved the goal from a corner kick, while a few minutes later, Ratti was the protagonist of the key moment of the game. Medina, after some indecision, stood alone in front of the goalkeeper and the latter brought him down when he was about to score. The referee whistled for a penalty, but from the penalty spot, Nico Ratti won the head-to-head over Bebé with a stratospheric save to leave the score as it was.
In the second half, the home team came out emboldened again and Andorra had to suffer in the initial stretch. In fact, Mo Dauda had a very clear chance to open the scoring, but in the one-on-one he could not get past Ratti and his shot went just wide of the post. From here, however, the Principality's men began to gain confidence and everything was decided when Lauti scored the 0-1. This was after another great move by Pau Casadesús, one of the protagonists of the tie, who after recovering the ball assisted the number 11 to score the only goal of the game.
