Andorra pays dearly for another bad start

The never ending story away from home: the tricolours have paid for another bad start to the game and have fallen short in their attempt to comeback. The fact is that in the 1st minute, Real Sociedad B was already ahead in the scoreboard and, in the 20th minute, they made the wound even bigger with the second goal.

With two goals against in the first twenty minutes, Andorra started to play and, from that moment on, they showed themselves to be superior to their opponent. But of course, the situation was really complicated by then. In the 34th minute, Alende sent the ball into the back of the net and the last minutes before the break were a siege for the tricolours: Fraga saved Manu Nieto's goal and Cerdà's shot, in the 43rd minute, went just wide of the post.

At the restart, Beto Company's team came out ready to finish the job they had started with Allende's goal and, in the first minutes, Juanda shot into the side of the net. Despite the good start from the tricolour side, the txuri urdin second team managed to calm things down a bit and the following minutes passed without much action near the areas.

Nico was just an spectator but Andorra needed to step up the game. They tried to do so by moving the bench with a triple substitution and, in the final stretch, the team managed to pin down their rival near its penalty area. Thus came the clearest opportunity, but Álvaro Martín's shot hit the base of the post (73').

Just two minutes later, the Basques were left with ten players due to Mikel Goti being sent off, but in return, Andorra had to replace Lauti, their reference up front. Thus, in the last few minutes of 'I want but I can', the team from the Principality tried with a header from Clemente and a shot from Villahermosa that was deflected by Fraga, but they couldn't find the equalizer.
