FC Andorra announces the extension of Nico Ratti's contract for three more seasons. The Argentine goalkeeper, established in Andorra since childhood, returned to the club in 2019 in Primera Catalana in his second stage in the tricolor team. Since then he has experienced first-hand the meteoric rise of the team from regional categories to professional football.
Ratti is one of the three remaining players of the first season of the new project started in the 2018/19 season and has been able to celebrate three promotions. Formed in the lower categories of Andorra, the goalkeeper had already debuted in the first team at an earlier stage. In total, Nico Ratti has defended the tricolor shirt in 149 matches spread over five different categories –Primera Regional, Primera Catalana, Segunda División B, Primera RFEF and LaLiga 2-.
Now, the goalkeeper, who this year has played 20 league games –plus 30 minutes in the semifinals of the Copa Catalunya– renews for three more seasons to continue making history at the club of his life.
"Andorra is my home and I can't imagine any other scenario other than being here. We have made history and I want to continue achieving success at the club, "explained Ratti.
