Jesús Clemente: "We felt confortable on the field"

Jesús Clemente, who returned to the starting eleven after overcoming the injury, addressed the media in the mixed zone after the match against Cultural Leonesa. The full-back regretted the goal in the last minute but was satisfied with the team's performance.

Statements by Jesús Clemente

"After Lautaro's goal we see victory close, so it's a shame that in the last play the three points escaped us."

"We are a very complete squad and I think that substitutions always help and contribute a lot. You just need to see people like Lautaro come in and score a goal. Changes always help the team to give a plus in the last minutes which is very important"

"These are decisions that we must not enter into [the controversy over the last goal]. We must avoid all the doubts that there may be, they are things of football and if we had deflected the ball in the last corner kick, no one would know n would remember. So there's no need to give it many more spins."

"I felt very comfortable, I think the team did too. We had a great match. The opponent was what it was and we couldn't pretend to be superior the whole match but I think Andorra gave a very good image throughout the party".

"They have a good team, they fight until the end and they took points in the last minutes, but the league is very long and we will see."

"We talked about it in the dressing room [the move for the goal]. It was a very quick move, the ball hit Álvaro on the back, the ball was dead, I was catching the opponent and I put my leg out to cover, but everything it went very fast and you never know what you have to do. It's a move that fell to them, they had that necessary luck and they took advantage of it."
