Iván Gil puts an end to his career with FC Andorra after three seasons wearing the tricolour jersey. The midfielder, who ends his contract on June 30th , has lived a clearly upward trajectory this year becoming one of the regulars in the starting eleven and ending the season as top scorer of the team
The midfielder from Viladecans arrived in the Principality in the summer of 2021 from Espanyol B and since then he has played 102 games with FC Andorra jersey, scoring 18 goals. In his first season, Gil was the protagonist of the first promotion to professional football in the history of the tricolour entity, a category where he also made his debut in the 2022/23 academic year.
This season, already with no 10 on his back, Iván Gil has played practically everything - he has only missed one game in the league - and, exploiting his powerful mid-range shot, one of his great virtues, has finished the course as the tricolour top scorer with six goals - seven if we count the goal in the semi-finals of the Copa Catalunya.
