U13 beats the other undefeated team

U13 achieved a very important victory against a direct rival and is now the only unbeaten team in its group. The boys coached by Aldo Papadopoulos overcame Atlètic Lleida and add up to eight wins in a row at the start of the championship, while the U16 team could not extend their good time and fell against a top table opponent.

U16 0-3 FIF Lleida | Two different faces

U16 showed two faces in the match against FIF Lleida, ranked second and one of the favorite teams to fight for promotion. The tricolours had a very good first half, but the goal conceded in the last minutes before the break did too much damage to Andorra.

The first 40 minutes were fairly even, with the tricolours playing hard. In fact, Ayan had the first dangerous approach with a shot from outside the area, while Iván Núñez, in a lateral free-kick, finished off the post. The home team also had their options, but Bryan Pubill's boys defended well until the last minute, when the visitors took advantage of a lucky move to take the lead.

The goal hurt Andorra, who disappeared from the map after the break. Although still at 0-1 Ayan Sonejee had a very clear opportunity to equalize, FIF Lleida were clearly superior and scored two goals in the last twenty minutes.

Atlètic Lleida 2-5 U13 | On the top

Great match for the tricolours in the duel between the group's co-leaders. Andorra justly prevailed over Atlètic Lleida, although the home team took the lead right from the start. Andorra U13, however, reacted well and despite the 1-nil in the first minute they knew how to impose their game and went to the break with a 1-3 advantage. After a quarter of an hour of play, Titi tied the game and the tricolours ended up turning the result in a set piece finished by Isaac. And even before the break, Eric da Costa extended the advantage by completing a good collective play.

At the restart, Terra Ferma team were forced to take a step forward, a decision that allowed Andorra to enjoy spaces to run on the counterattack. Thus, even though the home team scored in the 43rd minute, Andorra were comfortable throughout the second half, with Xavi Fernández organizing the transitions and taking advantage of the speed of the attacking players. Julio scored 2-4 and Isaac closed the scoring with the fifth.
