Ferran Costa: "Our energy is in what is about to come"

With the change of competitions and thinking about the Copa del Rey, the tricolour coach has assessed the team's situation and how his men are facing this Cup's second round.

"Our energy is in what is about to come. I already said what I had to say at the end of the last match; I have a lot of confidence in this group of players. It is true that these are painful situations and what we choose is how we react to these situations. There are positive things in a very painful situation and we have to hold on to them and reaffirm them. Tomorrow we play at home and the first ball of the match is already the most important. We have to be focused on this and play with energy and determination and the desire to rebel against a difficult situation".

"It's a different competition. I think playing is always good because it gives you the opportunity to show things and to transmit what we want. We are not satisfied with the end of the last match, although I think we had many opportunities not to get to this situation, and what I want is a team that goes with full energy, goes forward, is brave, does not speculate and gives everything on every ball".

"The opponent is obviously of a higher category, but it should not be important for us during the 90 minutes. The players who start have the opportunity to demonstrate the attitude and strength that the team has, it is a week that we have to face as a team because it is very demanding and, at 90 minutes, the previous situations of either team are not very important".

"Nico Ratti and ten others will play. He is our captain and he goes with the message I am giving. We are already starting to show what we want to be and what material we are made of. Yes, there will be players who will come in from the other game, some will repeat... but more important than the who is the how".
