Ferran Costa addressed the media in the press conference prior to this coming Sunday's game against Barakaldo.

"It's been a good week. First recovering from last week's effort with a lot of kilometers on the legs, playing in the Cup with what that involve emotionally and then having to overwork in Ourense playing 35 minutes with one less player for a situation that should not have happened as reflected by the competition committee, and then very focused on the goals we have as a team in terms of growth, improvement and commitment by growing in this offensive facet and transforming these arrivals that we are having".
"It's sad. I already felt sad at the end of the match because I think it was a game where the opponent in the first half ran a lot and we were demanding and exhausting it a lot physically and it makes us feel that the game would have gone towards a other direction. I also appreciate that the reaction, despite staying with ten, was to play to win."
"There are very positive aspects of the team. I think at the start of the season we played too many games within the same game, but I think that has changed and the team is now much more dominant. We also had a phase where it was difficult for us to press high and now the team, in these situations, recovers many more balls and is proactive from the defensive phase".
"We plan the matches from the collective point of view, but we also take into account the profiles of the opponents and the demands they will put on us. There is a first collective part, which is to try to defend as little time as possible and as forward as possible and the best way to defend a team that charges the area so well and has such a dominant player is to try to keep their game away from these situations. In terms of duels, we do have to have certain tendencies of theirs, but we do that every week"
"It is a team that has the ability to be very vertical and attack in the open field and in situations against organized defenses it has a dynamic and incisive wing game that allows them to load the area with a lot of people. [...] It is a team with a very clear style of play, which does not suit the opponent. I don't think we will see a different Barakaldo than in the last games, but I think it is the ideal game because we continue to demonstrate our competitive level."
"The competition is very difficult. It is true that we have come from four games without defeat and that we need to win again, but that is why we work. We always play to win and we have more and more arrivals and situations, but we have to translate it with more shots and opportunities. The difficulty is maximum: it is a very tight category where winning costs a lot, but when you are not at the level, losing costs very little. We are able to be in the top positions and fight for important goals but we need to be calm when there is a moment in the competition that this does not happen."
"We should not distort the reality of the situation of Cultu as a leader because if you look at the two groups the rest of the teams that are doing well are there like us. It is clear that we have to win again and we need it to continue in this fight, but from stability and serenity."
