Diego Díaz is now officially wearing the Andorra jersey. The Cantabrian forward, the latest addition of the summer transfer window, was presented this morning to the media and explained that the decision to come to the Principality was made very quickly. "When this opportunity came up, we didn’t hesitate. Andorra’s style of play suits me very well because I am a team-oriented player with good vision of the game," said the footballer, who is embarking on his first experience away from Santander in the Principality.

The new tricolor player also highlighted the high level he found in the locker room and the confidence within the group despite the start of the league. "I’ve been very positively surprised by the level of my teammates, and we are all very calm because the Second Division is very long," he stated. Additionally, he explained that Carles Manso asked him to stay true to his style of play: "To be myself, to connect with others, to work hard, and to take advantage of my good shot when I’m near the area."
