Breaking the losing streak in front of our people
There are no reactions yet. Be the first!

After three defeats in the last four league matches, Andorra faces a new challenge this Saturday (2:00 PM, Estadi d'Encamp) to turn the tide: the visit of Real Sociedad B. The tricolors, seventeenth in the standings with 3 points, arrive at the match after a tough blow suffered at Zorrilla, where they lost by the minimum margin against Real Valladolid following a great second half that went unrewarded. Carles Manso's team needs to score to break the streak, at a time when the support of the fans, in the first of two consecutive home games, could be key.

The nemesis of recent years

Facing them will be a team that arrives in a much more solid form. Real Sociedad B occupies the thirteenth position with 5 points, the result of one win, two draws, and one loss in their first four matches of the season. The Donostia reserve team comes from earning a point at Tenerife's field and presents itself in Encamp as a team accustomed to handling pressure moments without losing order, in the usual style of reserve teams that feature players with experience in the First Division.

The historical record between the two teams is clearly favorable to the Basques: in the five previous encounters, Andorra has yet to achieve a victory – one draw and four losses. The last match was played last February, with Real Sociedad B winning 1-2, in a game where Jastin scored the tricolor's goal. A record the tricolors will want to start changing this Saturday.

All available

Beyond the already known long-term absences – Gael Alonso and Théo Le Normand – Andorra has all players available to play, which means three players will need to be left out of the final squad.

Enes Sali, who until this week was unavailable due to bureaucratic issues, now has all his paperwork in order and is expected to be at the coach's disposal.
