Ferran Costa: "Not everything in life has an explanation"

Screwed after the hard blow his team suffered in added time in La Albuera, Ferran Costa addressed the media with a clear message: "now we have to be stronger than ever".

"It's a hard day because we found ourselves 1-nil down with a 30-meter shot that went in through the top corner, we shaked the game making four substitutions, from there we were very superior to our opponent, we managed to turn the game around with a lot of work, but when we had it under control and had three chances to make the third goal, in two minute everything change and from a game that with a little luck you could have won 1-4, you see how they, with the push of their fans, turn it around".

"The tendency is to want to find an explanation for everything and, sometimes, things are as they are. We played seven minutes of added time and in those minutes we had three very clear chances, we took a corner kick... sometimes not everything in life has an explanation: you received a huge blow. If we had scored the three opportunities we had to kill the game, they probably wouldn't have arrived with the energy with which they arrived in the last minutes".

"It's a matter of insisting, strengthening your mentality and, like everything in life, when you receive a blow that must make yourself even stronger. It is an important shock, but, having said that, to be fair the game has to be 1-4 in the 91st minute. If we really want to get promoted, what we have to do is be stronger than ever, grow from blows like this, be stable and work. This will bring you closer to our goals".

"The worst thing is that this first half part of the season we were at the top without any luck. Because this is not the first time it has happened to us. It's a fucking mess, but this is a long-distance race and we have to rebel."
