El FC Andorra closes an agreement with StatsBomb

FC Andorra has reached an agreement with StatsBomb to become its official data provider. In this way, the tricolor entity joins forces with a company that will allow it to have the most detailed and reliable data in the world of sport thanks to the more than 3,400 events that StatsBomb collects in each match in more than 100 competitions.

StatsBomb is the fastest growing provider of advanced data and analytics solutions in the world of sports. Founded by Ted Knutson, the company was born with the purpose of empowering sports analysts, allowing access to the best database in the world of football.

The company has undergone stratospheric growth in recent years gaining ground in the industry and, today, works with more than 150 professional clubs and other sports entities spread over more than 30 countries, among which, from now on, is FC Andorra.

Ricardo Larrandart, Director of Business Relations at StatsBomb: "It is a pleasure to announce FC Andorra as a new StatsBomb customer. A club that has had, based on good management, an exponential growth in recent years managing to climb to the Smartbank League and consolidating itself in the category as a rival that will aspire to promotion in the coming years.

"From the beginning, Jaume Nogués made it clear to us that his vision to continue evolving is constant and in that way he stated that his demand in the use of data is based on the quality of the information and not on standard data. We are proud to be recognized for that."

Jaume Nogués, sporting director of FC Andorra: "For the sports management of Andorra it is essential to have powerful data analysis tools and the union with StatsBomb is a step forward in this aspect. As we move up in categories, the demand is increasing and having the right tools is essential for our development."

"StatsBomb offers everything our team demands in terms of advanced data and analytics solutions. Having their help will allow us to take a step forward when it comes to scouting processes and decision making".
