Andorra u19 couldn't get off to a good start in their adventure in Preferent and fell against AEM. Filipe Busto's boys did not play a bad game, but they went to the break two goals down on the scoreboard; in the second half, the team cut distances quickly and had options to equalize, but fortune was not on the side of the tricolours.
The team did not enter the duel badly, but in one of the first dangerous actions, the home team were more accurate and opened the score just in the 6th minute. Despite the blow, the tricolours reacted well enough to the goal and they took control of the match and possession. And in fact, they enjoyed up to three clear opportunities to equalize but, in one of the last actions of the first half, it was AEM who once again proved to be more clinical in the final end with a psychological goal that did not do justice to what had been seen on the pitch.
In the restart, Andorra shook the team and soon found the prize: Yèdid cut distances with a direct free-kick right in the action in which the home team wes left with one player less (50' ). The goal and the numerical superiority gave impetus to the tricolour team, which shut down its opponent in its field throughout the second half. In some moments, the tricolours found it difficult to find a way to overcome AEM's defensive block, although they enjoyed some good opportunities to equalize, the clearest of which was a double shot at the post by Pere Simonet.
For their part, Lleida's team had a good chance to score in a quick transition that Víctor saved very well, but despite the efforts of the tricolour team, the scoreboard did not move and Andorra failed to open the league with a good result
