Andorra's good run of results came to an end with a loss during Eibar's visit to Encamp. The tricolors, who had a decent first half, saw the game become an uphill battle after conceding from a set-piece just before halftime.

Against an opponent that stayed compact near their area, Carlos Manso's team started by moving the ball from side to side, aiming to create danger through the skill of their wingers in one-on-one situations. In the first half, the tricolors had some good opportunities to break the deadlock, the clearest being a fine run by Petxa that ended with a slightly off-target shot by Minsu. Before the half-hour mark, Imanol tried his luck with a direct free kick, and a few minutes later, Jastin sent a powerful shot just wide of the post.

However, in Eibar's first dangerous approach, the visitors scored from a corner, with Peru Nolaskoain finding the net (38'). From that point on and before halftime, the Basques had a couple more chances.

The game became a steep uphill climb for Andorra, trailing on the scoreboard against a solid and in-form defensive team. In truth, the tricolors did not perform well in the second half. Yeray, who came on at halftime, tried his luck a couple of times from outside the box, but lacking depth, the team from the Principality saw the minutes tick by without any changes to the scoreline.
