The worst news has been fulfilled: Christos Almpanis has a long-term injury and will have to undergo surgery. The winger has an ACL injury on right knee after being injured in the last friendly played in Vall d'en Bas against Girona.
Almpanis, who arrived at the club on the final day of the transfer window last summer on loan, was facing his second season at the club established as one of the important men in Eder Sarabia's squad. So much so, that the tricolour entity decided midway through last season to buy the Greek player, who ended up playing 33 games and scoring four goals.
