Christos Almpanis and FC Andorra have reached an agreement to extend the Greek winger's contract with the tricolour entity for two more seasons. Alba had a contract for this season and, after the renewal, will remain tied to the club until June 2027.
The Greek winger arrived in Andorra on the last day of the transfer summer window in the team's first season in professional football. Coming from AEK Athens, although the previous year he had played for Apollon Limassol of Cyprus, he soon became an important player showing his power and quality in 1v1. In total, during the first year he played 31 matches and scored 4 goals and the connection between the two parties was so good that Andorra acquired the rights of the Greek footballer, who had arrived in the Principality on loan .
The second year, however, was marked by the long-term injury that occurred during the pre-season friendly match against Girona. In total, Almpanis has only been able to play three games in recent months, but faces the new season fully recovered and having extended its commitment to Andorra.
Christos, the adventure continues!
