César Morgado, experience for the defense

FC Andorra continues to strengthen its squad with the signing of central defender César Morgado. The 31-year-old defender arrives on a free transfer after ending his spell with Lugo last season. He signs for one season plus another optional one.

César Morgado, tricolour!

César Morgado (Barcelona, 26/01/1993) is a left central midfielder with an extensive experience and a proven track record after 263 games spread over eleven consecutive seasons between Primera RFEF and 2a división B. The previous year he played 29 games with Lugo -28 in the starting eleven- and before that he had been through the ranks of Sabadell, Badajoz, Valencia B, Villanovense, Cultural Leonesa, Mérida and Córdoba B. Precisely with Sabadell we find Morgado's only match against Andorra, in a a memorable game for the tricolours: a victory at Nova Creu Alta with a last minute goal from Adri Vilanova that marked a turning point in the season of the promotion to professional football.

Born in Barcelona because his father, ex-footballer Sergio Morgado, was playing for Espanyol, the centre-back trained in Villarreal's youth team and also played in Atlético's u19. Already as a senior player, Morgado began his pilgrimage that took him to UD Badajoz and Pacense before making the jump to the third tire with Córdoba B.

Welcome to Andorra, César! Your successes will be ours!
