Borja Álvarez leaves for PSG

Goalkeeper coach Borja Álvarez will not continue this coming season as part of FC Andorra's staff. The tricolour coach has accepted a proposal from PSG to join Luis Enrique's new technical team and will put an end to a period of two and a half seasons at the club to embark on a new adventure in one of the best teams on the continent. For its part, FC Andorra is already looking for his replacement that should be announced in the coming days.

Borja Álvarez arrived in the Principality in December 2020 from UD Almería and has been part of the group that achieved promotion to professional football and the historic seventh position in LaLiga Smartbank in the debut in the category last season.

During these years, his work within the technical staff has been excellent, clearly adhering to the team's model of play and the philosophy of coach Eder Sarabia. His good work was demonstrated last season by ensuring that the three goalkeepers in the squad enjoyed continuity in different stages of the season.

We would like to take this opportunity to thank him for his professionalism and good work. Good luck, Borja!
