The central defender of FC Andorra's first team, Marc Bombardó has been called up by the Spanish U20 national team. The Spanish squad will gather in France during the first week of September to prepare for the World Cup in this category, which will take place in Mexico at the end of the month.
Bomba is among the 24 players selected by coach Paco Gallardo to face a double match against the French national team. FC Andorra is one of the three Second Division teams represented in the call-up – along with Mirandés and Dépor – and the tricolor central defender is making his debut in a call-up of this kind.
