Before traveling to Vigo to face the second league match, the first away game, coach Carles Manso spoke of "a good week" with a "positive working atmosphere" following the victory against Ceuta but warned that the team must stay on the same path: "We all need to be aware that if we lower our intensity, any team can hurt us."
Manso, who will be able to count on Schneider, Moró Sidibe, and Rijkhoff, now registered, reflected on the importance of players who don't start being able to contribute once they come onto the field and expressed no concern about the state of the recently replanted grass at Balaídos: "We have been assured that it will be in perfect condition."
